Designed around the 'Tudor Mound' feature, at the heart of the 'sustainable communities' Ingress Park development, Palladian Circus is an impressive piece of urban design. The mound offered an opportunity to provide on street parking in an attractive form.
The introduction of parking controls in Ingress Park has improved satisfaction ratings among residents, and reduced the incidence of awkward and obstructive parking. While the 2011 survey rating for parking was only marginally positive, the rating for attractiveness was 100% positive.
As well as on street spaces, which include some provision for visitors, there are some garages and rear courtyards. Only a quarter of the garages were reported to be used for parking cars.
On street spaces around the mound, while some of the properties have integral garages.
