Ashford Borough Council has been particularly successful in attracting high quality local needs housing schemes in its rural settlements. Dadson Court is one such scheme. It is simple, yet contextually appropriate.
Most of the homes have driveway parking, which is both generous and neatly paved. Unfortunately, a 2012 survey suggested that there was some dissatisfaction, despite the fact that ownership was well below provision, and on street parking by visitors was not great. It is to be hoped that things have now settled down. In contrast, high levels of satisfaction were apparent in respect of attractiveness and friendliness.
The 'village green' setting probably justifies the open plan front gardens.

It is difficult to understand why some residents were not satisfied with the parking.
